It’s been far too long, about 20 years, since we’ve had a Paul Toenniges bass in the shop. This is a real players bass! Refined and robust sound appropriate for any musical style. This is a very unique bass being his diamond model. It has two diamond (trapezoidal) shaped F holes as well as two more on each C bout. The back and sides are made from American Curly Birch. Original Chicago made Kluson tuners.
The instrument is traditional in shape and design with the exception of the diamonds. This bass is in excellent shape and the setup also very good. Own a satisfying piece of American bass history!
