William Tarr- Manchester, England 1845

A superb William Tarr bass made in Manchester, England 1845.  The bass has the proper signature on the upper bout back, the stamp on the button as well as the unmistakable work of this English master.  This bass absolutely needs to be in a major orchestra!  It has the incredible power and cushion to make this instrument an absolute pleasure to play in any situation.

The bass is set up for the modern high end bassist.  This is a turnkey bass, absolutely nothing I would change.  Made of highly flamed sycamore.  Has the original scroll, plates and 3 Manchester style tuners and the addition of an appropriate 4th.  The bass is in excellent condition.

This is an excellent price for a bass of this caliber!
