David Tecchler- Circa 1725 Rome, Italy

This is an incredible opportunity to own an extremely rare David Tecchler bass.   The has been played by a Cincinnati Symphony member  for over 20 years.  It originally was brought to the US by Tom Martin for his former London Symphony section mate.  This is a 3/4 size and extremely easy bass to play.  This short string length bass has plenty of power to be an asset to any major orchestra.  The instrument is in excellent condition and has always been meticulously maintained.

The owner is being very reasonable with the asking price and is looking for a really good new home for his partner.  Tecchler cellos have gone as high as $800k… seems crazy as a bass is far more rare. Luckily bass prices are good bit less than a fourth of those figures.
