This is an extremely interesting old German bass. A few shops have mistaken this instrument for Italian origin. It’s real nice late 19th century bass that has been cut down a bit to make it very playable. It has a very satisfying and strong tone. The bass is real easy to get around.
This bass would take an aspiring student all the way through all levels of college and further. It’s a really good bass for the price!
