This is a classic example of a Boosey & Hawkes Concert Panormo model circa 1900. I believe this bass to be made in France for the London company. There are very few differences between London and French made Panormo copies. My favorites I’ve had through the shop have always been the French ones! Very nicely flamed maple rib and back, original scroll and French Style tuners, excellent condition.
This bass is very powerful, really nice lower register, very easy to play. Neck set makes it easy to navigate in all positions. Very satisfying daily player!
