Abraham Prescott- 1818 New Hampshire

$38,500.00

A very early and unique Prescott made in 1818. This bass has very large arching like I’ve seen on a few other early examples.  (I owned one for 30 years myself).  The flamed maple used on the back is absolutely spectacular! This instrument is all original including three original tuners, a fourth added later in the century.  I’ve never seen another Prescott like this one.

It’s a large instrument but surprisingly easy to get around.  It’s well worth it for the huge organ like bottom that you’ll enjoy for a lifetime.  This instrument in in an estate situation and is price way below market for a quick sale.
