This is a very unique vintage German instrument with lovely Birdseye maple back and sides. This makers choice of wood shows class and willingness to do top notch work with a common design. This is the definition of a daily workhorse as the last two owners over the last 30 years have been an A list studio artist and an excellent jazz/classical freelance bassist. This bass is perfect for whatever gig you may be called for. Easy to maneuver the entire scale of the bass and amplifies and records superbly to boot!
