Armando Montermumici was a pupil and the successor of the more famous Raffaele Fiorini. This instrument is pretty much the dream Italian bass, sloping shoulders making it incredibly easy to play but still has real bass dimensions to be a huge force in a bass section or rule at an audition. The bass also has an amazing upper range and would cut through an orchestra without having to consider amplification.
The bass is in excellent shape and has been well cared for. The owner has priced it to move a just $100k. If you want to be happy and satisfied for a lifetime and stand out at auditions, this is the bass!
